What does it kill?
The Aquamira water treatment drops will kill bacteria, viruses, giardia, cryptosporidium, algae, and spores.
How does it work?
Bottle A, chlorine dioxide, is the active purifying ingredient. Bottle B, phosphoric acid, activates the chlorine dioxide. Simply add equal amounts of liquid from each bottle to your water, wait about 15 minutes, and it’s ready to drink. (Exact measurements will vary depending on volume of water; exact ratio can be found on the instructions.)
Does it affect the taste of water?
The Aquamira drops will actually improve the taste of water.
How safe are Aquamira drops?
Aquamira drops are completely safe to use on a regular basis when used as directed. They are also EPA registered.
Doesn’t chlorine dioxide contain chlorine, which I don’t want?
There is actually no chlorine in chlorine dioxide. The two chemicals have completely different chemical structures. The additional oxygen atom radically changes the molecule and creates completely different chemical behaviors and by-products.

How long do the drops last?
Treatment drops have a 4 year shelf life. Expiration dates can be found on the bottle.
How long is the treated water good for?
Treated water can be stored for up to 5 years.
