The Swift Green SGF-G9 is a quality, compatible filter for the GE MWF or Amana Clean 'n Clear 12527304 / WF401. The SGFG9 fits any refrigerator that currently uses the GE MWF or Amana 12527304.

Unlike other compatible filters, the Swift Green filters are tested and certified by WQA (Water Quality Association) to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements, so you can be assured of its quality. Independent laboratory testing is conducted regularly and the Swift Green filters are proven to perform just as well or better than the OEM filter (see documentation).

Filter Replacement Instructions

Remove the old filter by slowly turning the cartridge 1/4 turn to the left
Remove all packaging, including the protective sticker at the top
Make sure the o-ring is in place in top of the filter
Fill the filter with water
Insert the filter into refrigerator and turn 1/4 to 1/2 turn to the right (label will be in front) - Do not over-tighten
Run water for 5 minutes through the dispenser to flush and condition the filter
Reset the “Reset Filter” light, if applicable, by holding down the button for 3 seconds

Great Price

Great filter no more chlorine flavor

Filter went right in, filtered out all of the chlorine flavor, it now tastes great straight from the fridge. Will be purchasing more in the near future. this is a cost effective way to get good tasting water.
