The genuine OEM LG 5231JA2002A / LT500P refrigerator water filter fits LG refrigerators with a short round filter. If you have a Kenmore refrigerator and your fridge model number starts with 795, then your refrigerator was made by LG.

How to Replace the LG LT500P:

Turn the used filter counterclockwise 1/4 turn and pull filter straight down (The water shuts off automatically so you don’t have to worry about flooding your refrigerator)
Push the filter straight up into the fridge until it stops
Turn the filter clockwise 1/4 turn
If your refrigerator has a “Change Filter“ light, reset it

How to Reset the "Change Filter" Light:

Press and hold the “Reset” button for 3 seconds
